Moncler Group leads in sustainability indices for fifth year

Moncler Group’s Strategic Sustainability Plan 2020-2025 focuses on climate action, a circular economy, fair sourcing, enhancing diversity, and giving back to local communities. Notable achievements include using approximately 90 per cent renewable electricity at their corporate sites in 2022, maintaining carbon neutrality at these sites since 2021, recycling 100 per cent of nylon scraps, and progressively integrating lower impact materials into their collections. They aim to reach 50 per cent by 2025.Additionally, the group has almost completely eliminated single-use virgin plastic, enhanced their traceability programme for key raw materials, and continued their energy assessment programme to help suppliers reduce CO2 emissions. In terms of diversity, women represent 69 per cent of their total workforce and 51 per cent in management roles as of 2022. Moncler Group has also made a significant social impact, protecting over 108,000 people in need from the cold over the past six years, with an estimated total of around 140,000 by the end of 2023.
